English Language School

Welcome

Welcome to the Onehunga High School Adult Learning Centre. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to learn English in our ‘Pathway to English Proficiency’ course, designed to meet the needs of English language learners at all levels. We aim to provide a friendly and relaxed environment in which students can improve their level of English ability through their own hard work and determination. With the expert tuition and support of our dedicated teaching staff, you will achieve your learning goals faster.

The school is located in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga, an easy car journey or bus ride from the Auckland city centre. The school is close to bus stops and within walking distance of a shopping centre. Free student parking is available.

TUTOR TRAINING

A basic course designed for both current and potential tutors of adults. The course covers how adults learn, group-building skills, planning/evaluation and the presentation of a mini lesson. Course runs for two consecutive Saturdays from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. For information on dates, venues, cost and application forms please telephone 4441353 during school hours.
