Onehunga High Business School has a significant role to fulfil and has taken a strong lead position to change business education for the greater good. Onehunga High Business School is a Business School set up by business people. It is a school that enhances the student experience through innovative curriculum development, experiential learning coupled with sound business practice and business case analysis.

Our vision is to provide a learning culture where secondary school students can develop the knowledge and skills to become tomorrow's business leaders. Right from the start they learn about leadership, entrepreneurial skills and risk-taking - the things that make or break businesses in the real world. Our students learn to aspire, to try things, to accept failure as a step on the way to success. We provide them with the right learning tools and the best teachers. We possess the best technology to support student development and involve ourselves with some of the finest business minds and companies in New Zealand. Onehunga High Business School's goal is to provide our students with a head start in thinking and planning skills that become real business know-how in a fast-changing world. We will take these students from an early age, Year 9 (3rd Form), and steer, guide and nurture them along to develop a student with an international outlook on business. We want our students to have the ability to succeed and to be the best they can possibly be. At Year 13 Level 3 we are offering a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship Course. This Certificate course aims to prepare students for further tertiary study in business or entering the workforce as an employee or self-employed entrepreneur.
