What year level will you be in?

Your year level will depend on a number of things. These include your level of competence in English, your age, how well you have done in your studies in your own country and the subjects you wish to take.

If you are entering the school at Year 12 or 13, you will find that there are many subjects that you cannot do unless you have studied them previously.  These may include languages, music, physics and chemistry.  There are other subjects which you may take for the first time but will find very difficult.

Year 11 students must take English, mathematics, science and three option subjects.

Year 12 students must take English, and five other subjects.

Year 13 students can take 6 subjects or where appropriate students can select from a combination of Year 11,12 and 13 subjects.

If you are in  Years 11, 12 and 13 you choose an alternative English course especially designed for you.

If you are a Year 12 or 13 student enrolled in the Business School you follow the Business School Programme as well as select other subjects of your choice from the curriculum.
