The school and our students are always seeking collaborative endeavours with Onehunga businesses and professionals to highlight and showcase our strengths, together, and the role we have to play in enriching the wider community.
Sporting participation and excellence is a strong part of our school identity and we are proud to have a wide range of competitive sports teams that represent Onehunga High School and the wider Onehunga community. Sports excellence teaches our students discipline, personal responsibility and commitment, skills that transfer beyond the playing fields. With varied and diverse learning opportunities, we are proud to excel not just in core academic fields but also in best in class pathways programmes such as our renowned Business School, Health Science Academy, Building and Construction programme and our immersive Catering and Hospitality pathway.
We also appreciate the support from the community to offer gifts in kind to donate items and resources towards the smooth running of these programmes. From building materials to help us erect a house to the supplies that make their way into the meals our catering and hospitality students create. Everything we receive helps our students to learn and grow.

Showcase your support for our performing arts
The varied opportunities for students to participate in performing arts at Onehunga High School mean we offer music, dance and drama performances throughout the year in our Showcase Performance evenings. We are also incredibly proud of our students who perform at Polyfest, representing cultural groups from across our whanau.
