3-Way Conference 1 & 2 August 2024
As part of Academic Mentoring at Onehunga High School, we invite you to come in and meet/reconnect with your child’s Kaitiaki for a 20 minute 3-Way Conference.
The 3-Way Conference is an important opportunity to discuss the academic progress of your child to date and to work together on future steps to ensure successful academic outcomes as we move into the second half of the year.
Conference focus:
- Current progress academic progress against the curriculum (Y9 and 10), or NCEA qualifications (Y11-13)
- Subject Selection for 2025
- Setting/resetting academic goals and targets for the end of the year
Conference booking dates:
- Book your 20 min conference on either of the 2 days below. Book now to ensure you secure a time that suits your whānau
- Thursday 1 August - 3.20pm - 7.00pm – School will finish at 2.10pm on this day
- Friday 2 August - 9:20am - 3.00pm - Students not at school on this day
Booking a Conference:
- Bookings for conferences can be made via the School Bridge platform (Web or App). Once you have logged in, if you select “Student Conferences” from the dashboard, you will be able to book a time with your child’s Kaitiaki.
- If families are unable to attend in person, then there is the option to do this online. All students are expected to attend the conference with their whānau. If whānau are unable to attend either on-line or in person, students are still expected to come in and meet with their Kaitiaki.
- If you have any problems, please contact the school so that an appointment can be made for you. If you have multiple children at school and are unable to book consecutive times please contact us and we will help. If for any reason you are unable to attend the conversation please contact your child’s Dean at school on 09-636-6006.
