The OHS Ist XV may have lost the Plate Final against Avondale College 19-15 on Saturday, but they are to be recognised for consistently upholding OHS values, throughout the season.

The boys’ character and skills were never in question. They played hard in the spirit of the game, demonstrating the values we admire in young men. Their games have all been close affairs.

The commitment and skill of the players, are in large part thanks to their outstanding coaches, Mr Jim Kuresa-Moore and Mr James Haimotu. Thank you for the time, knowledge and care you have given our players.

The team has been very well led by Luke Grant and Captain Filipe Li.

Congratulations on a very good season to the players, coaches and managers. You have made us proud.
