Year 10 Forensic Scientists.

Year 10 Forensic Scientists.

Who stole the Arc Reactor from the OHS Science Department? This is the hypothetical scenario students are grappling with.

Year 10 science students are fully engaged in using all the laboratory skills and chemistry they have learned to find the culprit. They will need keen observation and inference skills to solve this case. They are learning a lot about chemical and physical reactions, DNA analysis, fingerprinting  and blood typing.

This unit of work is bringing science to life for students, several of whom are now convinced they would like to go on to study forensic science.
