The junior exams may be over, but the learning is forging ahead. For Year 10 Art students this means Pablo Picasso becomes their inspiration.

Between 1901 and 1904 Picasso painted many paintings, in what we now refer to as his Blue Period. These almost monochromatic paintings featured many shades of blue and blue-green.

Students are challenged to create their own blue masterpieces, hopefully without the deep melancholy that motivated Picasso's works.
