Peer Support Leaders: Guiding the Way.

Peer Support Leaders: Guiding the Way.

Year 13 peer support leaders provide invaluable guidance and encouragement to Year 9 students as they transition into high school.

Their experience helps younger students navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop a sense of belonging. Year 13 leaders foster a positive school culture by acting as role models and offering advice on any concerns and questions the younger students have. They create a safe space for Year 9s, reducing stress and anxiety.

Two or three peer support leaders are assigned to each Year 9 Kaitiaki class and will continue to be available throughout the year.

Thank you to our friendly Peer Support team!
