Liam Rihia (Year 13) is a strong example of leadership and consistent excellence. Whether he is settling the school with the morning karakia over the intercom, preparing outstanding dishes in the kitchen, or energising kapa haka with his musical talents, Liam demonstrates Loyalty and Courage in everything he does. He encourages those around him and shows genuine whakaute and manaakitanga in his interactions.

Liam also excels in the classroom. He is a gifted writer and talented musician who takes pride in succeeding as Māori, having earned Excellence grades in both Te Reo Māori and English. He has achieved Merit endorsements at both NCEA Level 1 and Level 2, and continues to maintain a high standard in Level 3.
