It was a huge undertaking to host the more than a thousand people who came to support Fia Fia Day on Saturday.
Fiafia Day brought the entire school community together in a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity, showcasing the many cultural traditions that make the school a better and more inclusive place.
The day was filled with fantastic performances, the result of the hard work and dedication of students, their coaches, and staff. The dances were at times mesmerising, at others electrifying. The costumes were often exquisite. The support of families was evident.
Food stalls offered a delicious array of cultural dishes and were very popular, contributing to the significant amount of money raised for each group.
Fiafia Day was a true testament to the power of unity and cultural pride—a day to remember for all who attended!
The Polynesian Festival competitions run from Thursday to Saturday this week. We know our students will represent their school, their families and community with pride, loyalty and courage!
