Last Saturday, the Junior Boys Cricket team won their final game of the season to confirm themselves as College Sport T20 B grade champions.

In an exciting game, OHS beat Liston College by 5 runs to secure their seventh win in a row. Aidan Grant, who has performed well with both bat and ball, has captained the team.

Zac King has had a memorable season with some great batting innings and excellent bowling figures of 5 wickets for 6 runs in a previous game. Other notable performances have come from Benji Ebbett and Manuka Perera with the ball, as well as Harrison Avis and Rudra Nayak when batting.  Anthony Wright has been the team's wicket-keeper.

Thanks to Mr McGarvey for the Thursday afternoon coaching and Denzil Grant and Daniel King for the game day management. Thank you to the parents who have helped the team by umpiring, scoring or taking photographs.

The cricket season takes a break for Winter and returns on 18 October, when we hope to see more students playing this year and in the future.
