Despite some students getting ill and some poor weather conditions, the recent trip to China was a resounding success

Ms.Sara Wang and eleven OHS Students have returned from an educational and fun filled trip to China to attend the Spring Camp 2025. They have returned with a great appreciation of the Chinese language, history, and culture. They spent time in Beijing and Xi’an, attending classes and visiting the major tourist and cultural attractions. They thoroughly enjoyed going to the Forbidden City and seeing the Great Wall of China. The Terracotta Warriors were a favourite of many, as was the day trip to Bailuyuan, which was an opportunity to get out of the city and enjoy the beauty of the countryside while learning about the culture and customs of the people. The food and the shopping were also a hit!

Ms Wang could not have been more complimentary of the students who travelled, all of whom took every opportunity to get as much from the experience as they could. They were outstanding ambassadors, representing OHS with pride and loyalty.
