Onehunga High School is proud to celebrate the success of Lile-Rose Sinisa, a student from the Building School who is embarking on a work experience placement with Cassidy Construction.
Following an impressive site visit, Cassidy Construction praised Lile-Rose’s confidence, curiosity, and foundational knowledge of construction. “She was engaged, asked fantastic questions, and was a pleasure to have with us,” said Alex Pedrick from Cassidy Construction.
Beginning next week, Lile-Rose will start paid holiday work with the company, and an apprenticeship opportunity awaits her at the end of the year. This valuable partnership not only offers her hands-on industry experience but also the possibility of pursuing a university pathway in construction management, fully funded by her future employer, should she choose it.
Cassidy Construction is a long-term supporter of the Building School, and we are very grateful for their continued support of the programme and our students.
