The Week 5 Shooting Star Award goes to Serene Foulagi for her exceptional commitment to learning, demonstrated through her hand-crocheted animal cell project in Science.
This week’s recipient is Year 9 student Serene Foulagi, whose recent Science homework stood out for both effort and originality. As part of a task on animal cells, Serene dedicated an impressive 33 hours to creating a hand-crocheted cushion that accurately represented the cell structure. Her work was creative, detailed, and far exceeded expectations.
Serene’s project is a clear example of pride in learning and going the extra mile. Her dedication and perseverance reflect the values we celebrate at Onehunga High School.
Congratulations Serene on this well-deserved recognition.
