Onehunga High School is taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge. Students, staff, and whānau are joining thousands across Aotearoa to raise funds and awareness for children in the Solomon Islands facing food insecurity.
This week marks the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge (13–15 June), and we’d love your support. We have a shared desire to make a real difference where it’s needed most.
This year, we’re raising funds to support children in the Solomon Islands, helping to provide food for today and hope for tomorrow. The focus is simple and powerful:- One Focus – Food Insecurity- One Country – Solomon Islands- One Challenge – Unplug for 40 Hours
Whether you take on the challenge yourself, support a student, or simply help spread the word, every action counts. Even a small donation can go a long way. You can support our school’s fundraising efforts through the link below:

For 50 years, New Zealanders have come together to tackle global challenges. This is another opportunity to do just that—joining thousands across Aotearoa, raising awareness, and showing our tamariki what it means to step up for others.
