Year 9 student Archer Linke has been selected to compete at two of the biggest events on the national karate calendar: the New Zealand Karate Open and the New Zealand Secondary Schools Karate Championships, taking place in Christchurch on 28 and 29 June.

Archer will represent his club, Suzaku Kan Karate, at the NZ Open, before proudly competing for Onehunga High School in the NZSS Championships. Held over the first weekend of the school holidays, both events bring together top young fighters from across Aotearoa.
