OHS athletes braved tough conditions at the Auckland Cross Country Champs, with strong performances, several PBs, and two students qualifying for Nationals.
On Wednesday 4th June, seven Onehunga High School students competed at the Auckland Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships, held at Barry Curtis Park in East Auckland. Despite wet and stormy weather making the course soft underfoot, our runners showed determination, resilience, and school pride.
A special congratulations goes to Lisa and Sarah Hellyer, who both qualified for the New Zealand Secondary Schools National Championships. Lisa placed 3rd overall in the Senior Girls' race and achieved a personal best in the process.
