Olivia Clark claimed 1st place in the U20 Girls division at Round 3 of the Auckland Schools Mountain Bike Champs, leading a strong performance from the OHS team. All four riders showed determination in challenging, muddy conditions at South Head.

Muddy, wet, and wild - the third round of the Auckland Schools Mountain Bike Championships at South Head put riders to the test with a super slippery course on the edge of Woodhill Forest. Four determined cross-country riders from Onehunga High School faced the elements and mechanical challenges, including dropped chains and fading brakes, to complete their two-lap races with grit and resilience.
A standout performance came from Olivia Clark, who powered through the 14km course to take 1st place in the U20 Girls division — a remarkable achievement in testing conditions. Her win sees her move into 2nd place overall in the championship standings with one round to go.
