Onehunga High School is proud to celebrate the success of Lisa Hellyer and Sarah Hellyer, who have both been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2025 Australian All Schools Cross Country Championships in Runaway Bay, Gold Coast this September.

Selection for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Association (NZSSAA) team is a prestigious honour, placing Lisa and Sarah among the top secondary school cross country athletes in the country. This achievement is a testament to their dedication, perseverance and consistent high-level performance.

Their success reflects the values we uphold at Onehunga High School: resilience, excellence, and a commitment to striving for personal excellence. Lisa and Sarah are outstanding representatives of our kura and continue to inspire others with their determination and focus.
