Accelerating Success: OHS Students Selected for Prestigious University Maths Programme

Accelerating Success: OHS Students Selected for Prestigious University Maths Programme

Onehunga High School is proud to congratulate Year 13 students Jack Graham and Emilie Seargent on their acceptance into the highly competitive MATH199 programme, part of the University of Canterbury’s STAR (Seeking Talents, Accelerating, and Rewarding) initiative.

MATH199 offers exceptional secondary school students the opportunity to engage in university-level mathematics while still at school. This fully-funded course not only challenges students academically but also provides them with university credits and a valuable head start in tertiary study.

Gaining entry into MATH199 is a significant achievement that recognises both academic excellence and determination. Jack and Emilie have demonstrated outstanding mathematical capability and a strong commitment to their learning.

We commend them on this accomplishment and look forward to seeing their continued success as they take on this exciting academic opportunity.
