Waka Award: Leading by Example – Term 3 Week 2

We are proud to recognise Toren Paston as the Waka Award recipient for Week 2, term 3 in Year 10. Since arriving at Onehunga High School, Toren has made an outstanding impact in the classroom. Diligent and respectful, he consistently demonstrates impressive dedication and mastery in his learning, achieving excellent results while also supporting others along the way.

Beyond the classroom, Toren makes a valuable contribution to the wider school community. He is an active member of a student council and a committed participant in the JETS soccer programme, as well as a member of the OHS football team. Through both his academic and co-curricular involvement, Toren exemplifies the WAKA values of Respect, Integrity, Resilience and Excellence.
