Xavier White represents New Zealand at European Orienteering Champs

Xavier White shines on the world stage, helping Team New Zealand climb the ranks at the European Youth Orienteering Championships!

Earlier this year, Xavier White was selected to represent New Zealand as part of the Junior Orienteering team at the European Youth Orienteering Championships in Brno, Czechia. The competition has just wrapped up, and Xavier’s performance was a fantastic display of determination and skill on the world stage.

Competing in the Men’s U16 division, Xavier took part in three demanding events over three consecutive days: • Long distance (4.8km): 57.43 minutes, 66th overall • Sprint (3.1km): 14.55 minutes, 65th overall • Relay (3-man team): Team NZ finished in 2:11.31, placing 19th overall

Xavier ran the third and final leg of the relay, recording a top 10 individual leg time and helping lift Team New Zealand up five spots in the final rankings.

We’re incredibly proud of Xavier’s achievements on the international stage. Tino pai, Xavier!
