OHS Riders Tackle Tough Conditions at Auckland Secondary Mountain Bike Champs.
The fourth round of the Auckland Secondary Schools Mountain Bike Championships was held on Sunday at Totara Park. After torrential overnight rain, the trails had been transformed into muddy, slippery, and demanding tracks that tested every rider’s skill and stamina.
OHS was proudly represented by four students, each showing the courage, concentration, and determination needed to complete the challenging course. Mountain biking demands quick thinking, precise judgement, and the ability to adapt rapidly to ever-changing terrain, and our riders demonstrated all of these qualities with great commitment.
The results reflect the commitment of our team:
1st U20 Girls – Olivia Clark
3rd U16 Boys – Gio Minano
8th U14 Boys – Louie Gould
21st U16 Boys – Arlo Gould
