We are delighted to share that two of our Year 9 teams represented OHS at the Mathex competition held Wednesday evening. This marked a significant milestone, as it has been several years since OHS last participated in this event.

Both teams displayed exceptional teamwork, perseverance and problem solving skills, achieving impressive scores of 90 and 70. While OHS did not place in the top three, these results are an outstanding achievement, particularly given the high standard of competition and our school’s recent return to Mathex.

Congratulations to our Year 9 students for their enthusiasm and dedication. Their efforts have set a wonderful example for others to follow, and we look forward to seeing even more of our students take up this exciting opportunity in the years ahead.
