Lydia MacDonald is a hardworking Year 12 student in 12BT who shines with excellence in her studies and school involvement.

Lydia consistently applies the OHS WAKA values to her NCEA studies and her interactions with other students. She passed NCEA Level 1 with an excellence endorsement and is on track to pass NCEA Level 2 with excellence too. She is a member of the Enviro Club and has taken part in the Lions Rotary Club Speech Competition as well as the New Zealand Biolympiad this year. Lydia credits her excellent results down to her striving for excellence at all times and always being determined to focus on completing her work and meeting deadlines.

We wish Lydia all the best for the rest of her time at OHS and in her future plans of studying at University.
