The final full school assembly, held on Monday last week, was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our talented students before the seniors depart for NCEA exams and the next stage of their journeys.
Principal Shameen Hayat congratulated all students who have shown loyalty and courage throughout the year in striving to achieve their goals. The assembly was also a special moment for the school community to farewell our Year 13 students and remind them that wherever they go, they will remain proud OHS alumni, carrying with them the values, friendships, and lessons that have shaped their time here.
Awards were presented for; Gold and Platinum LAC and Academic badges, Waka Awards, Creative Writing, the Duke of Edinburgh Programme, and the Student Volunteer Army.
