OHS Uniform Update for 2026

OHS Uniform Update for 2026

From December 2025, OHS uniforms will be supplied by The Uniform Shoppe in Penrose, with online orders available.

From the beginning of December 2025, Onehunga High School will move to a new uniform supplier, The Uniform Shoppe, located at 3/726 Great South Road, Penrose. All uniform items will be available for purchase from December 1, 2025, either in store or online.

As part of this change, the onsite uniform shop at OHS will close, and all uniform purchases will be made directly through The Uniform Shoppe. Families can buy items in person or order online through the new OHS Uniform Shop website, which will go live on December 1, 2025. Until then, uniform items can continue to be purchased from our current supplier.

Changes to uniform requirements in 2026

Students will no longer be required to purchase the branded OHS sock when wearing grey school shorts. Instead, students must wear plain black socks above the ankle with grey shorts. The previous branded sock may still be worn if families already own it.

We are also developing new additions to the school uniform that reflect our identity and pride as a community. These include an OHS lavalava, a school cap, and a hoodie for use during sports events. These items will be be available to buy in 2026. All sports uniforms are also being rebranded and updated to align with Onehunga High School’s values and colours.

All other uniform expectations remain unchanged. Students are expected to wear the correct OHS uniform with pride each day. Correct footwear includes plain black leather shoes or black Roman sandals with an ankle strap. Sports shoes and basketball boots are not permitted.

At Onehunga High School, wearing the uniform correctly is an important way to show pride in ourselves, our learning, and our school.
