Onehunga High School congratulates Lisa and Sarah Hellyer, finalists in the Distance Running category at the 2025 Auckland Secondary School Sports Awards.

College Sport Auckland has announced the finalists for the 2025 Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards, which recognise the achievements of secondary school athletes across Auckland.

We are delighted to announce that Onehunga High School has two finalists this year. Lisa Hellyer and Sarah Hellyer have both been named in the Distance Running category for their outstanding results and commitment throughout the season.

This recognition is a significant achievement, highlighting the dedication, discipline and excellence they have shown in representing OHS. The winners will be announced at an awards evening at Eden Park on Thursday 27 November.
