Our Year 10 students are off to an amazing start at Camp Adair, making the most of every moment! From muddy slides to high-flying challenges, the first day has been packed with fun, teamwork, and courage.
Students have tackled river tubing and raft-building, learning about river safety while working together to keep their creations afloat, and sometimes ending up in the water themselves! The mudslide proved a huge hit, with plenty of slippery fun and friendly competition out on the field during touch rugby games.
The high beam and trapeze activities tested everyone’s nerves, with students cheering each other on as they climbed the cargo net and leapt into the air; screams could be heard through the camp. Archery and map-orienteering brought out the competitive spirit, with the girls taking the archery win and one group proudly topping the orienteering challenge.
Camp Adair is already proving to be an unforgettable experience as students form strong bonds and participate in many new activities that challenge them to step out of their comfort zones.
