The last of the NCEA examinations is over for another year. Students who have been working hard to ensure they achieve to the very best of their ability are finally free to enjoy the summer!
We have been particularly pleased with the high turnout for these external examinations. Students who in past years may have decided not to attempt the external exams (many of whom already had the credits they needed to pass) have instead been keen to add externally assessed credits to their qualifications.
The number of students who came into school to attend the tutorials delivered by each department, before the exams, has never been higher. The desire to succeed and the confidence evident in our students is testimony to the hard work and dedication of both students and their teachers and of the crucial support of whānau.
We anticipate that our school results will continue on the upward trajectory that saw OHS students achieve so well last year.
