We are pleased to welcome Lucy Stone as our new Director of Community Education.
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Lucy Stone as our new Director of Community Education. Lucy is a highly accomplished leader who brings a track record of educational excellence and a clear vision for our school’s community outreach. Our Community Education programme is the largest and most vibrant in the country, and with Lucy’s leadership, we are committed to providing high-quality opportunities for you to upskill, discover new passions, and connect with others right here in your neighbourhood.
Lucy’s impressive career across Auckland's schools makes her an ideal fit to lead this important community resource. At Sacred Heart College, she spent over seven years as the Head of Department for Social Sciences, where she successfully led staff and managed academic programmes. Her leadership experience also includes a successful tenure as a Dean and teacher at Baradene College, following several years of service at Selwyn College. This extensive history of managing departments and coordinating complex course delivery ensures our national-scale programme is in very capable hands.
Whether you are looking to master a new craft, pick up a professional skill, or simply enjoy the social side of learning, our programme offers top-tier instruction in a welcoming and well-organised environment. From creative arts and languages to technical upskilling, these courses are a premier, accessible resource for everyone in our community. We invite you to join us in giving a warm welcome to Lucy Stone as she begins this important role and helps us grow this exciting programme.
