We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2026 Executive Prefect Team. Our Head Prefects are Lydia MacDonald and Tali Feuʻu, supported by Deputy Head Prefects Levi Ah Lam and Alofa Lawrence. This is a strong selection of student leaders, reflecting breadth of contribution, proven leadership capability, and a clear readiness to lead the wider prefect team.
Head Prefect Lydia MacDonald has shown strong commitment across all areas of school life. She is a positive role model who contributes thoughtfully to school activities and events. Lydia works confidently with both students and staff and brings clarity, reliability, and purpose to her leadership.
Head Prefect Tali Feuʻu, who is of Māori and Samoan descent, brings a wide range of leadership experience through involvement in student representation and school wide initiatives. He has contributed meaningfully to decision making and supported major school and cultural events. Tali’s engagement across the curriculum and strong sense of responsibility make him well suited to the role of Head Prefect.
As Deputy Head Prefects, Levi Ah Lam and Alofa Lawrence provide strong support to the Executive Prefect Team and the wider prefect group. Both have demonstrated leadership through involvement in service and school initiatives and bring dependable, collaborative approaches to their roles.
As an Executive Prefect Team, Lydia, Tali, Levi, and Alofa will provide leadership, coordination, and direction for the prefect team, support junior leaders, and work closely with staff to lead key school events and initiatives throughout 2026. They are excellent role models who set high expectations and demonstrate positive leadership across the school.
We wish the Executive Prefect Team every success in 2026 and look forward to the positive influence they will have on the Onehunga High School community.
