The Onehunga High School Girls Senior B Volleyball team has kicked off the 2026 season dominantly. After two weeks of play, the team remains undefeated, boasting a 4–0 record and dropping no sets.

Week 1: Success at St Cuthbert’s College. The campaign opened with two commanding performances that showcased the team's depth and chemistry: OHS vs Elim Christian College (Senior C): A 2–0 victory fueled by relentless serving pressure and seamless teamwork. OHS vs St Cuthbert’s College (Green): The momentum continued with a clinical 2–0 win, silencing the home crowd. Player of the Day: Maile Taufa (12Lu)

Week 2: Momentum at Baradene College. The winning streak extended this week as the team's defensive structure began to shine: OHS vs Baradene College (Senior Gold): A 2–0 win defined by disciplined defence and well-timed attacking plays.

OHS vs. St Mary’s College (Navy): A dominant 2–0 finish (25–9, 25–15). This match allowed the girls to sharpen their court awareness and test new attacking combinations against unpredictable play. Player of the Day: Mara Lee (11Qu)

THE ROAD TO WAITAKERE: Tournament Time! The team is now narrowing its focus to the North Island Secondary Schools Satellite Tournament, March 25th–27th, at the Trusts Arena, Waitakere. The girls are putting in the hard yards at training to ensure their discipline and unity remain at an all-time high. 

If these first two weeks are any indication, Onehunga High School is going to be the team to beat! Go OHS!
