A thoughtful student who always looks for ways to help others.

This week’s Year 10 WAKA Award recognises Asaph Fakalata, a student who consistently demonstrates respect, diligence and kindness in the OHS community. Asaph is a respectful, polite and thoughtful student who always looks for opportunities to take initiative and help others.

He is regularly commended by his teachers for his strong work ethic and diligence in class. Asaph is a focused learner who works hard to complete tasks to a high standard and shows commitment to doing his best in his learning.

Outside the classroom, Asaph is a positive influence on his peers. His kind nature is clear in the way he interacts with students, staff and teachers, always showing consideration and respect to those around him. Ka pai Asaph, well done.
