The courses were longer, and impressively, all athletes achieved faster times and personal bests.
With two events to go and next week's home advantage, we're looking to earn a spot in the final championship event.
Congratulations to our top place-getter this week - Xavier White, with a convincing 2-minute lead in the Year 10/11 boys race.
Earning a place in the Top 20: Reece Kilpatrick (9th), Nathan Marshall (10th), Ren Sughara (15th), and Alexandra Lindsay (17th).
The OHS orienteering team is inviting all students and teachers to try out the sport next week, on Wednesday, after school at Onehunga High School. Bring a PE uniform and running shoes (no compasses allowed), and challenge the teachers for bragging rights!
