At the 2026 Auckland Athletes, Year 9 Discus powerhouse, Aisea Mokofisi earned the Gold medal with a massive throw of 42.3m to claim the Junior Boys Gold Medal!

Just two weeks ago, we watched Aisea beat the field at our school Athletics Day with a superb 28m Discus throw. An extra 14m in 2 weeks is the gold standard!

Later in the day, Year 11 Athlete Dayley Myks claimed the Silver Medal in the Girls Intermediate Champs today with a fabulous throw of 33.48m! Following a 4th placing 2 weeks ago in the Auckland Secondary Schools Competition, Dayley is well on the way to conquering her dream of training and competing in the Pentathlon in the future.  

The future of OH Athletics is looking very bright indeed.
