New Zealand has 8 universities ranked in the top 3% worldwide, along with 18 polytechnics offering a wide range of practical and academic pathways.
Year 13 students considering university are encouraged to attend Uni 101 (Term 1) and Uni 102 (Term 3) workshops. You can also meet with Mrs Shaw for individual guidance on applications, courses, accommodation, and costs.
Tertiary providers will visit OHS in Terms 2 and 3 to provide information and support with planning and applications. Students are welcome to visit A0 or email [email protected] for help at any time.
Make sure you understand University Entrance (UE) requirements and are taking at least 3 approved subjects in Year 13. Some universities also require a Rank Score.
