Onehunga High School First XI Football Tour of Sydney

Onehunga High School First XI Football Tour of Sydney

Successful pre-season tour with elite training and strong performances.

Our First XI boys and girls have just finished an outstanding pre season football tour of Sydney, filled with high quality training, competitive matches, and unforgettable experiences.

A major highlight was spending time with both Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers, where the teams took part in two days of elite training with each club. The opportunity to learn from professional coaches, meet A League players, and experience the environment of top level football was incredibly valuable and inspiring for all involved.

On the pitch, the boys competed strongly against Chatswood High School, Blacktown Berries, and Moriah College, while the girls faced quality opposition in Pymble Ladies’ College and Brigidine College St Ives. Each match provided a great learning platform, with players showing growth in confidence, teamwork, and overall performance across the tour.

The squad represented Onehunga High School with pride, commitment, and a positive attitude throughout. It was a fantastic experience that has set a strong foundation for the season ahead and we are excited to see what is to come.
