Our nine-runner squad opens the North Island Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships with strong performances across the board.

It was a great start to the North Island Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships in New Plymouth, with gold for Xavier White in the Intermediate Boys Short Course.

Congratulations to Xavier, who put together a clean and fast run against a strong field to take the win and get the team off to the best possible start.

The rest of the team also had a good opening day, with all nine runners out on the course and settling into the competition. Focus now shifts to the Long Course event at Barrett Domain.
