New opportunities for students to engage with the local Youth Hub and community programmes.

Onehunga High School is continuing to build its connection with the Onehunga Oranga Hub, creating more opportunities for students to engage with the wider community.

As part of Youth Week, the Hub will host a Youth Expo in the library foyer on May 21, with a range of organisations available to support and inform young people. The Electoral Commission will also be there to help first-time voters enrol, making it a useful opportunity for senior students to get involved.

There are also opportunities for students to share their talents, including lunchtime performances during NZ Music Month and potential exhibitions of student work in the library space.

These connections provide practical ways for students to access community resources, share their work, and take part in local events.
