Generous local partnerships are enriching student learning and supporting pathways beyond school
Students in the Building and Technology programmes have received a welcome boost thanks to the generosity of local businesses recently.
Cassidy Construction has offered to sponsor Building students to sit their learner driver licence tests, a valuable step towards independence and future employment opportunities in the trades.
In addition, Onehunga-based company Cemix Concrete has donated a full pallet of multicrete concrete to support Year 13 EWD (engineering / wood) students with their project work. The contribution, valued at over $700, will provide high-quality materials for students to bring their designs to life. These partnerships highlight the strong support from our local community and the opportunities that arise when schools and industry work together.
A special thank you to Cassidy Construction and Cemix Concrete for their generosity and ongoing support of our students and programmes.
