Congratulations to our young athlete who has been selected to represent the Cook Islands at the IVF World Waka Ama Championship in Singapore.

Competing in the J16 category, Esther-Marie has also been selected for the J19 Elite team, an impressive achievement that reflects her skill and hard work.

Esther-Marie has been involved in waka ama since the age of seven and trains every day, spending two hours practicing and preparing. Her dedication to the sport over many years has helped her earn the opportunity to compete on the international stage. The school community is proud of Esther-Marie and the positive way she represents both her culture and our school. Her achievement is a great example of what can be achieved through commitment and consistency.
