Judith stands out for her strong academic results, leadership in supporting others, and ability to balance study with wider commitments.
Judith is a high-achieving student who also supports the learning of others. As a member of the OHS Academic Council, she contributed to the development of an NCEA study guide to help students prepare for their exams.
She was recently awarded an Academic Achievement Award for migrant students at a ceremony held at AUT and supported by Auckland Council. Judith achieved a Merit endorsement at NCEA Level 1 and an Excellence endorsement at Level 2, and plans to study Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland next year. She attributes her progress to resilience and maintaining a balance between study and other activities, including art, playing guitar, and volunteering. She also acknowledges the support of her family.
Congratulations to Judith on this well-deserved recognition and for consistently demonstrating WAKA values.
