Senior Hospitality students delivered an impressive evening of food and service for members of the Maungakiekie Rotary Club.

OHS welcomed members of the Maungakiekie Rotary Club for their annual dinner on Monday, 25 May. Senior students from the Food and Hospitality Department prepared and served the evening’s meal. 

The event celebrated the strong partnership between Rotary and OHS, while giving students the opportunity to showcase their hospitality and catering skills. Deputy Principal Ms Aubrey Mason and Head Prefect Tali Feu’u spoke during the evening. They acknowledged Rotary’s continued support of OHS and its positive impact on the school community. Guests enjoyed a menu featuring tender lamb shanks, rich beef bourguignon, and passionfruit tiramisu, all prepared by students.

A highlight of the evening was an impromptu choral performance by Year 13 Prefect John Dela Cruz. His performance added warmth and enjoyment to the occasion.

Thank you to Head of Food and Hospitality Ms Karen Coleman, Ms Shital Wati, Ms Maushmi Devi, and all the senior students from the Food and Hospitality Department. Their professionalism and teamwork ensured the evening was a success.
