A consistently respectful, resilient and positive role model, Laz leads with kindness, supports others, and makes a meaningful contribution to the school community every day.

This year’s WAKA Award proudly recognises a student who truly lives out the values of respect, resilience, integrity, and excellence every single day. Approaching every challenge with a positive attitude, he consistently gives his best effort and sets a high standard for those around him.

Always ready to lend a hand, he supports both staff and peers without hesitation, showing a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. As a trusted buddy and mentor, he leads by example, demonstrating kindness, encouragement, and quiet leadership that inspires confidence in everyone he works with.

With his friendly nature and ever-present smile, he brings a sense of warmth to our school community.  He makes a real and lasting difference, supporting those around him and showing what it means to truly embody the spirit of the WAKA Award.
