Onehunga students brought plenty of energy, laughs, and original ideas to another great night of TheatreSports.
On Wednesday night, Onehunga High School travelled to St Kentigern College to compete in the latest TheatreSports Youth Programme (TYP) event, taking on two St Kentigern teams. It was a fun evening filled with quick thinking, creativity, and plenty of laughs as students tackled a range of challenges set by the MC. The team embraced every opportunity to perform, creating original scenes and keeping the audience entertained throughout the night.
A standout performer for Onehunga was Ashton Mahy, whose confidence and improvisation skills helped lead a number of hilarious and memorable scenes.
After a closely contested competition, the scores were tied at the end of the night, with St Kentigern eventually taking the win in the tie-breaker round. The TheatreSports season continues in around two weeks, when Onehunga High School will host its own TYP night. The date will be confirmed soon.
TheatreSports is always a great night out for students, whānau, and supporters. We look forward to seeing plenty of people come along to support the team at our upcoming home event.
