Explore future pathways, discuss 2027 subject choices with teachers, and connect with education and industry providers at Onehunga High School's annual Careers Expo.
Onehunga High School's Annual Careers Expo and Year 13 Market Day will be held on Thursday 23 July from 2.30pm–6.00pm in the TKW, providing students and whānau with an important opportunity to plan for the future.
The event also marks the opening of 2027 subject selection, making it an ideal time for students and whānau to discuss course choices together. Teachers from every learning area will be available to provide personalised advice, explain how subjects connect to pathways through senior school and discuss the opportunities they can lead to beyond Onehunga High School, including university, apprenticeships, trades, training and employment.
The Careers Expo will feature representatives from universities, polytechnics, private training providers, the New Zealand Defence Force, New Zealand Police and other organisations. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore a wide range of career options and learn about scholarships, tertiary study and future employment opportunities.
Running alongside the Careers Expo is our Year 13 Business Market Day, where students will showcase and sell products they have developed as part of their business studies, demonstrating the entrepreneurial skills they have built throughout the year.
We look forward to seeing you.
