OHS welcomed athletes and visitors from across New Zealand and overseas, showcasing its outstanding sporting facilities.

Onehunga High School was proud to host the 2026 New Zealand 4th Wanfang Cup Light Volleyball Invitational Tournament and the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the New Zealand Wanfang Sports Association in its state-of-the-art gymnasium. The tournament brought together players and supporters from throughout New Zealand, along with visitors from Sydney, Melbourne and Mainland China. National MP Nan Lu and representatives from a number of Chinese community organisations also attended, making the event a celebration of sport, friendship and cultural connection.

The New Zealand Wanfang Sports Association thanked OHS for providing an exceptional venue, recognising the school's outstanding sporting facilities, warm hospitality and the support of Director of Sport Scott Collins in helping deliver a successful tournament.
