Recognising Ani for the positive example she sets at OHS.

Year 9 student Ani Tupou is our Week 5, Term 3 WAKA Award winner, recognised for the way she supports others and contributes to our school community. Ani is always willing to help those around her. She offers support and encouragement when it is needed and makes an effort to ensure others feel welcome and included. Her friendly manner, confidence and respect for others make her a strong role model for her peers.

During Cook Islands Language Week, Ani performed for our school and proudly shared her culture with others. Her willingness to take part and share this part of her culture was another example of the positive role she plays at OHS. Ani demonstrates the values of WAKA through her everyday actions and the way she treats others.
